Ruben Fukkink is professor of Childcare and Education Services for Young Children in the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. He is also professor (lector) at the Kenniscentrum Onderwijs en Opvoeding of the Applied University of Amsterdam and is currenty chair of the Institute for the Study of Education and Human Development. He has published on various educational and pedagogical topics, including childcare, online parental support and video feedback programs for parents. He was member of the organizing committee of the Think Parents!-conference in 2012, organised by the Netherlands Youth Institute and the University of Amsterdam and in partnership with Eurochild and the Council of Europe and many others.
