drs. Edo de Vries Robbé

Edo de Vries Robbé is an economist and cultural anthropologist. He graduated with a thesis on the illegal and criminal economy of Suriname, for which he received, among other distinctions, the Dutch National Thesis Award in 2004.

From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a researcher at the Beke Research and Consultancy Group in Arnhem. He then lived and worked in Hong Kong for eight years as Director of Due Diligence at The Red Flag Group.

Since 2016, Edo has been with the London-based technology company Arachnys, first serving as Vice President of Product and later as Vice President of Strategy. Arachnys develops software for financial institutions to help detect and prevent financial crime.
